Perseus can reproduce many interesting astronomical events, in the past or in the future. Here you can download some "situation" files for Perseus to assist you in reproducing the most exciting astronomical events.

To use the "situation" files, click on the image or the file name. Save the file in the "SAVED" folder of Perseus (usually C:\Program Files\Perseus\SAVED). Execute Perseus and load the situation with the "Load situation" command from the "File" menu. These situations can be animated by clicking on on the control bar or by pressing "A" on the keyboard. You can also see the simulation full screen by pressing F11.

	Mars Opposition of 2003 This situation shows the path of Mars in the sky in summer 2003.

	Comet C/2001 Q4 NEAT The comet C/2001 Q4 NEAT from Rome on May 12th, 2004. This situation requires that the comet C/2001 Q4 is present in the Perseus database!
